The Diamond treasure chest is a means to obtain precious resources without having to harvest them in the world, from monsters or by crafting them.
It contains resources but in no case to obtain mobs’ specific loots.
Behavior
After opening the chest, the player has the choice between recovering all its contents (F) or leave at least one element inside. In the case where the box is emptied, it disappears.
Spawning
Diamond Treasure Chests rarely appear, randomly, around the players at the Corruption layer, several chests can appear side by side.
It usualy appears in total obscurity.
Players can force Diamond Treasure Chest’s spawning regardless of the layer by placing corrupted blocks in a chunk. A chunk is a 16 x 16 area.

- Chests are non-solid blocks, it’s possible to pass through.
- More common Wood treasure chests are found at the Surface.
- Rare Obsidian treasure chests are found at the Stalactite layer.
- Diamond treasure chests with more interesting rewards are found at the corruption layer.
